Nic Lesmeister

Nic Lesmeister became the executive pastor of Gateway Church in 2025. He works under the leadership of Pastor Daniel Floyd to oversee the day-to-day ministry and operations of Gateway. 

Nic holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and previously enjoyed a career as an entrepreneur and COO where he concluded with a successful business exit from the finance sector. In 2015, Nic and his family moved to Israel where he earned his master’s degree in nonprofit management and leadership from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. After completing his degree, he and his family returned to Texas and began in ministry by leading a global Christian nonprofit. 

In 2019, Nic pioneered the vision to create the Gateway Center for Israel as a part of Gateway Church. In the fall of 2024, Nic began overseeing all of Gateway Church’s global outreach ministries and assisted Gateway’s nonstaff Elders in operational leadership until Pastor Daniel Floyd was selected as the lead pastor. And in 2025, Nic accepted Pastor Daniel and the nonstaff Elders’ invitation to serve as executive pastor of Gateway Church where he serves the staff and executes vision with and for Pastor Daniel. 

Above all his accomplishments and opportunities, Nic’s most exciting and rewarding adventure is with his wife, Tabatha, raising and growing alongside their three children while proudly living in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.
